VLS Technology was born out of genuine frustration. Vaibhav and Punam, the founders of VLS Sourcing — a leading recruitment consulting firm established in 2014 — had spent years hiring talent for companies across industries.
In every role, they were forced to use HR software and ATS platforms that were bloated, confusing, and clearly designed with large IT departments in mind, not frontline HR professionals. The result? Low adoption, wasted budgets, and HR teams reverting to spreadsheets.
The insight was simple: the adaption rate of HR tech is very low compared to other departments — and the reason is complexity, not capability. HR professionals are smart, capable people. They just needed tools that respected their workflow.
So in 2020, Vaibhav and Punam decided to build what they always wished existed: easy HR software for first-time users. No unnecessary features. No steep learning curves. Just clean, effective tools that work from day one.
That decision became VLS Technology Pvt. Ltd., and the product family that followed — TrueHRIS, TrueCV, and TrueCRM — is the direct result of a decade of recruitment experience translated into software.
